Food is the Foundation of Health

We always say if you're ever lost in the woods just shout "What's the best dog food?" People will come running and debates will start on what they believe is the best thing to feed your pet. The internet is full of great information, but in it you will also find advertisements, opinions, and influencers. There are more pet-food brands than ever before, all saying their food is the best. We get that question a lot ourselves! What do we answer? It depends on your pet of course! Check out our helpful blog to get started here.

Enrichment

Dogs love to stay busy! One way to help them stay busy is to encourage licking. Yes, you read that right! Licking helps release endorphins which can make them happy, but it also stimulates the brain. In Central Oregon we have really cold winters and hot summers where outdoor playtime might be limited. Offering an enrichment toy like a lick mats, Kong, Woof, or one of the many fun interactive toys we offer is a great way for them to use their nose and burn some energy indoors. Lucky for our dogs we have more ways than ever to mix up those treats we use in toys than just pet-safe peanut butter. There's pumpkin, frozen goat milk and bone broth, freeze-dried toppers, even their favorite pet-friendly fruits and veggies we can pack into their favorite toys. Looking for some new ideas? Ask our team what we use for our pets!

We know bringing home a new family member can be a lot of fun, but oftentimes confusing. That's where we come in! Come and talk with one of our team members and we'll help navigate and share our extensive knowledge with you to make sure your pets have a happy and healthy future.
